Firefighting and rescue missions compress extreme requirements into a single deployment: equipment staged close to the hazard must tolerate radiant heat and sparks, stay anchored in wind, and be ready within minutes — often handled by crews already working in full PPE. Between call-outs, the same kit has to pack into limited vehicle space and survive repeated setups on asphalt, gravel, sand, or snow.
Support infrastructure carries a specific share of that burden. Command posts, equipment staging, decontamination points, and crew-rehabilitation areas must stay operational for 24–72 hours, frequently beside live incident traffic. That is the operating standard SUNSHINE engineers its shelter and material systems against.
The Firefighting and Rescue Support Tents line provides deployable command, equipment support, and crew-rest space sized for incident-scale operations. For longer-duration bases — forward command posts, triage and treatment areas, rehabilitation stations, or decontamination lanes — the Professional Aluminum Frame Shelters platform adds rigid-frame stability: the A-Frame and Arch models span up to 6 m, assemble rapidly with a small crew, and can be partitioned for medical, communications, or logistics functions.
Layouts are engineered to specification. Entrances, windows, interior partitions, flooring, HVAC ports, and cable pass-throughs are configured per mission profile rather than forced into a standard floor plan.
Fabrics are the first line of containment. Our functional material line includes flame-retardant poly-cotton canvases, FR oxford fabrics, and FR antistatic polyesters used for equipment covers, barrier screens, structural protection, and garment components. Coating weight, weave density, and colour are specified to the application, and sample swatches are available for evaluation before commitment.
Evidence is handled the same way: where a flame-retardancy classification exists for a material — such as the SGS DIN 4102-1 Class B1 report published for our PVC tarpaulin in the verification records — it is shared with its exact scope and limitations, not inflated into a blanket claim.
